I grew up and have lived in the Seattle area for over 40 years. After graduating
from Washington State University in 1986, I moved to San Diego where my interest
in real estate began. In 1989 after an extended vacation in Europe, I decided
it was time to move back to my favorite city: Seattle. In December of 1989 I
started working for Richard James Realtors, then in 1991 I moved to my current
office, Windermere / Oak Tree, Inc.
I'm a member of St. Matthews Parish and I'm involved with the Housing for the
Homeless Program, Community Service Day, the Shrine Burn Centers, Northwest Harvest
and St. Martins Homeless Shelters.
I have been very happily married to my wonderful wife; Sallie for 13 years. We
have a wonderful 10 year-old son; Ross, and a beautiful daughter named Allison
who is 8 years old. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends,
golfing, skiing, traveling and rooting on the Cougs! |

Mark DeSpain, Residential & Investment Specialist
Mark has lived in north Seattle since 1994 and received his real estate license in 1995 while working at Harbor Properties, Inc. At HPI he focused on the development, marketing and management of multi-family, high-rise properties. In 2000 he went on his own focusing exclusively on a single-family residential practice. In addition to being constantly active in the market, he continually studies to keep current his knowledge of the regional market and of industry practices. He goes far beyond the minimum educational licensing requirements observed by the majority of agents and actively seeks to further his knowledge and services. References from past clients are available upon request. Mark uses a referral-based business model, which means that more than 80% of his business comes from past clients that were so pleased with his service that they refer their friends, relatives or neighbors to him. Mark's clients can confidently recommend him to others knowing he does his best for each person he serves. In 2002 he joined Windermere-Oak Tree where he enjoys the support of experienced, professional staff and colleagues.
